Another industrial OEM had presented a portfolio of existing devices for XFINIO to quote with the goal of simply realizing cost savings over their incumbent supplier. While reviewing the designs and specifications for the devices, XFINIO’s engineers realized that a few of the devices were over-designed given performance requirements and their knowledge of the application. Leveraging their comprehensive list of supplier relationships, XFINIO was able to source specific components that gave an even larger reduction in cost while maintaining the performance requirements of the device.
Rather than just checking boxes and presenting an equivalent device with typical cost reductions, XFINIO was now in a position to provide thousands more in cost savings that their customer could realize for years to come.
